Job Overview – Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer
My client is a leading manufacturer of bespoke equipment operating in the aerospace and medical industries. They are looking for a highly motivated Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in their facility based just outside of the Tewkesbury area.
Key Responsibilities – Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer
• Designing and developing mechanical engineering solutions to deliver new and existing projects.
• Supporting manufacturing operations through fault diagnosis and developing necessary solutions.
• Becoming proficient with mechanical design and simulation tools.
• Developing skills in the application of mathematical principles to solve engineering problems.
• Giving advice on the best mechanical solutions, considering cost and timescales, while delivering maximum performance and reliability.
Key Experience – Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer
• Educated to Degree level in a Mechanical Engineering discipline.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles.
• A working knowledge of engineering calculations.
• Proficient with design software, ideally Autodesk Inventor.
• Experience in design and manufacturing would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of basic electronic principles is desirable.
