Key Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health Officer to join the Food Team. You will be responsible for enforcing food safety legislation, conducting inspections of food premises, investigating complaints, and ensuring compliance with hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- We are looking for an Environmental Health Officer (Food Safety) to work through our backlog of unrated food hygiene inspections. The candidate should be fully qualified and competent to inspect the full range of rating categories. The candidate will also be asked to assist with follow-ups for on non-respondents from our D/E category intervention programme, undertaking food hygiene inspections as applicable.
The role is full time and for an initial period of 4 months.
