Summary
Do you have a passion for breathing new life into old furniture? We are looking for a skilled Upcycling Assistant to join our team for 15 hours per week.
You will work hands-on with donated furniture, using your carpentry skills to repair, adapt, and creatively upcycle items for resale. This role is ideal for someone who loves craftsmanship, sustainability, and giving furniture a second chance.
Key Responsibilities:
Repairing and restoring donated furniture to a high standard
Adapting and upcycling pieces with creativity and care
Ensuring workshop tools and equipment are used safely
Supporting the team in maintaining a tidy, safe workspace
Skills & Experience:
• A trained carpenter with good practical woodworking skills
• A genuine passion for upcycling, repairing, and adapting furniture
• Creative flair with an eye for design and detail
• Reliability and the ability to work independently or as part of a small team
