We’re looking to strengthen our Accounting and Payroll teaching team at Brent Start Adult & Community Learning Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative, flexible and committed tutor who is passionate about putting learners first and supporting our growing curriculum area.
What you’ll do:
• Deliver high-quality teaching in accounting and payroll subjects
• Support curriculum development and learner progress
• Take part in team meetings, training sessions and standardisation/audit processes
• Use RaRPA effectively and work with external accreditation/exam boards
• Work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet learner needs
We’re looking for someone with:
• An accounting qualification at Level 4+ (essential)
• A teaching qualification at Level 5 (or willingness to work towards this)
• Knowledge of RaRPA and experience with accredited qualifications
• Strong commitment to learner achievement and quality improvement
• Payroll qualifications/experience and GCSE/Functional Skills Level 2 in Maths (desirable)
• A current DBS (desirable)
