Summary
The post holder is expected to adhere to all Departmental and Trust policies and work as part of a team to provide excellent care and minimise risk. The management of paying patients across the Trust is within the clinical duties of post-holders. Training will be given on Epic, including Epic prescribing. The post holder is expected to complete all clinical notes fully and legibly and to write letters promptly as required. The Post holder accepts that they will also perform duties in occasional emergencies at the request of the appropriate consultant in discussion, where practical, with both senior and junior colleagues. The Post holder would not be expected to undertake work of this kind for long periods of time. Medical clearance and in some circumstances examination is required prior to appointment. The Post is covered by the Terms and Conditions of Service of Hospital Medical and Dental Staff and the General Whitley Council Conditions of Service.
