Summary

We are looking for a Social Worker in a Learning Disabilities Team



This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 2 years post qualified experience.



About the Team


This team focuses on supporting adults with learning disabilities and their families and carers which involves assessing their needs, planning supporting as well as promoting their independence in line with the Care Act and other legislations. They will also carry out safeguarding enquiries under Section 42 of the Care Act as well as completing Mental Capacity Act assessments and Best Interest decisions where appropriate.


About you


A degree within social work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 2 years' experience is essential in order to be considered for this role. A valid UK driving license and vehicle is not essential to the success of this role but will help.
