Do you love driving but hate curtains, straps, dirt, or lifting anything heavier than a kettle? Perfect — we’ve got just the gig for you. In fact, if the mere mention of multidrop makes you break out in hives, you’ll feel right at home here.
We’re looking for a couple of steady hands behind the wheel of our shiny, spotless fridge trucks, moving freight between national distribution centres on nights. The best part? You won’t touch a thing. Simply back onto a bay, let the on-site team unload, and you’re free to enjoy a cuppa while the hard work happens around you.
What’s in it for you?
Full time 5 shifts per week between Sunday night and Friday night.
Night rate: £20.02/hr (or £22.43 with holiday).
Umbrella option: Days £21.68/hr | Nights £23.92/hr.
Weekend rates up to a tasty £29.46/hr.
Full time guaranteed night trunking between distribution centres. Don't touch the load.
Requirements:
A valid HGV Class 1 licence.
The ability to reverse confidently onto a bay would be good (bonus points if you can do it without making the shunters laugh). Extra reversing training can be provided for inexperienced candidates.
A sense of humour and a dislike for dirty curtains.
