Salary: Up to £600 per week
Location: Barnet, North West London

Are you a caring, motivated graduate ready to make a real difference for children with additional needs?

About the School – Barnet, North West London

Our client is a warm, nurturing SEN school nestled among leafy lanes in the London Borough of Barnet. We cater to learners aged 5–16 with a range of special needs, including autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, speech and language challenges, and difficulties with emotional regulation.

The school’s out view is on a relationship-based, holistic approach: every pupil is known by name, and emotional well-being is woven into every lesson. We pride ourselves on:

Inclusive environments, designed with sensory-friendly spaces: quiet corners, comforting textures, and calm lighting to support regulation.
• A dedicated therapeutic team, including speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, and emotional well-being mentors.
• A strong emphasis on pupil voice—student councils, creative expression projects, and regular “circle time” for sharing ideas and feelings.

Willow Grove Academy values the small triumphs: a new phrase spoken, a fresh friendship formed, a moment of self-help or independence. We celebrate them all.

• Communicates clearly and builds trusting relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues
