The Role

As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Deliver one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with additional needs such as autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, or social-emotional challenges


  • Assist class teachers in adapting lesson materials and planning inclusive activities


  • Encourage pupils to build self-confidence, independence, and strong communication skills


  • Promote positive behaviour and contribute to a calm, supportive classroom environment


  • Monitor pupil progress and share insights with the SENCo and teaching staff


    What We’re Looking For

    We’re interested in hearing from graduates who:

    • Hold a degree (2:1 or above) in Psychology, Education, or a related subject


    • Have some experience supporting children or young people with SEN in a school, care, or voluntary setting


    • Are calm, compassionate, and adaptable, with a genuine interest in inclusive education


    • Are considering a long-term path into teaching, therapy, educational psychology, or similar fields
