Summary


Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist in Neuropsychology - permanent position, 8B 16h.

The Department of Clinical Psychology & Neuropsychology at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust serves patients on adult and paediatric medical and surgical pathways, within a biopsychosocial model, dealing with mild to profound injury, illness and disability, undertaking highly specialist assessment, formulation, and intervention.

The Department is a large, growing, cohesive and highly specialist group of clinical psychologists and neuropsychologists committed to the unique value of clinical psychology in acute healthcare. There are excellent links with local and national clinical psychology and neuropsychology training courses.

A unique and exciting role has been developed fora Clinical Psychologist in Neuropsychology with a primarily outpatient focus.





The postholder will provide psychological and neuropsychological assessment and treatment in relation to complex neurology, neurosurgery, and neurorehabilitation cases, to patients with neurological conditions and injuries including neuro-trauma, multiple sclerosis, neuro-inflammation, epilepsy, movement disorder, neuro-developmental conditions and injuries, neuro-oncology, functional neurosurgery, neuro-degeneration, and functional neurological disorder.The role will be suitable for an established Clinical Psychologist experienced in the care of patients with neurological conditions and injuries.
