Summary
Job Title: Key Account ManagerReporting to (position) Operations Director
Job objectives and responsibilities:• Management of waste contracts for a number of Key Industrial clients, predominantly Northern England.• Line Management of on-site operation team • Maintain and develop client relationships with a view to maintaining and growing waste services.• Work with Operations Director and teams in Identifying innovative opportunities for services beyond traditional waste collection.• Maintain, monitor and develop the relationship with all relevant subcontractors• Work with Operations Director and teams to develop and implement strategies for service enhancement and cost savings. • Monitoring quality and accuracy of Management Information reports produced and submitted by the MI team.• Monitoring quality and accuracy of invoices produced and submitted by the Finance team.• Monitoring quality and accuracy of waste data on Mitie Wastes WR1 system • Submitting and implementing strategic waste management plans in line with our client's environmental and accreditation objectives and working alongside the team and Operations Director.• Ensuring client compliance with current and future environmental & Health and Safety regulations and legislation; • Auditing both suppliers and clients sites• Ensure that contracts are run safely and efficiently to the required standard. To liaise with clients and monitor site operations if appropriate.• First point of contact for client queries on waste related activities• Liaise with Mitie Waste Finance team to ensure debt and WIP is minimised. requirements• Identifying account growth opportunities• Knowledge or experience in Contract Management, Hazardous and Non-Hazardous waste management• Experience in Line Management of Operational shift working teams• Experience in handling and packaging of waste chemicals would be an advantage.
