Summary
Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to join their busy Conveyancing department. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys providing crucial administrative support and is keen to develop their skills within a supportive and friendly environment.
Duties for the legal Secretary will include but not be limited to the following:
File Management: Efficiently opening new client files, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurately recorded and organised.
Client Communication: Preparing and issuing clear and concise quotations to prospective clients.
Document Processing: Managing the process for returning client documentation, including conducting necessary identification checks in compliance with regulations.
File Closure: Accurately and efficiently closing files in accordance with firm procedures.
Administrative Support: Providing general administrative assistance to the legal team, including diary management, arranging meetings, handling incoming calls and correspondence
The ideal candidate for the Legal secretary role will have the following:
Previous administrative experience within a legal environment is essential.
Experience with Audiotyping is essential
Excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and friendly telephone manner.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection regulations.
