Summary
My client is looking to recruit a stand-alone Site Manager to run a section of groundwork's with the appointed subcontractors on this £26 million new build education project in Hampshire for a 6-month contract starting ASAP.
My client is a multi-disciplined main contractor on the South Coast, specialising in projects from the following sectors:
- Prisons
- Local Government
- Education
- Health care
- Commercial and Retail
- Student accommodation
The focus of the role will be to coordinate the sub-contractor teams and manage both the logistics and quality of works as well as the health and safety on all of the ground works packages including drainage , service diversions surfacing and landscaping across the site .
Candidates must have worked for a main contractor in the past and be able to display a hands-on approach and be used to running teams both out on site and doing the 2 week look ahead, RAMS , and updates to the programme in weekly and daily progress meetings with the team and your Project Manager
Candidates must have SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid and have worked on major project for the main contractor looking after ground-works packages the past
Candidates must be from either a HNC / ONC / degree qualified or trades background with a solid work history as a site manager.
