A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established and proudly independent practice in Cornwall. The team is experienced, forward thinking, and dedicated, with a strong culture of collaboration and support. As a registered training practice for veterinary nurses, they maintain exceptionally high clinical standards, ensuring both staff and patients receive the very best care.
This practice prides itself on its personal and community focused approach. Care is truly at the heart of everything they do – they know their clients by name and treat each patient as an individual, never with a “one size fits all” mentality. With a fabulous and loyal client base, a Pet Care Plan with all consultations included, and a structured diary of 15 minute consultations with built in breaks and admin time, the team is able to consistently deliver the highest standard of veterinary and client care.
The practice offers clinical freedom in a well-equipped surgery that allows for full workup of your own cases, alongside the support and expertise of a committed team of 3 Vets, 3 qualified nurses, 2 student nurses, a Veterinary Care Assistant, and 2 receptionists. They are passionate about continual practice investment, with new premises currently being designed, ensuring modern, state-of-the-art facilities for the future.
Life in Cornwall adds to the appeal – stunning coastlines, surfing, biking, cliff-top walks, and plenty of opportunities to relax and enjoy a balanced lifestyle. The practice embraces flexibility, offering equal opportunities and an openness to discuss working patterns that fit with your lifestyle. With a genuine commitment to work-life balance, a supportive culture, and an inclusive working environment, this is a truly exciting opportunity for the right candidate to thrive!
