Summary
We are looking for a reliable and skilled Forklift Driver to join our growing team. Working in our busy warehouse and production environment, you'll play a vital role in maintaining efficient movement of materials and finished products across the site.
Key Responsibilities- Operate a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently
- Load and unload delivery vehicles
- Move stock and materials within the warehouse and production areas
- Conduct regular checks on forklift equipment and report issues
- Work closely with the warehouse and production teams to support daily operations
- Maintain a clean and organized working environment
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines
- Speaking to customers and helping load their deliveries (customer service will be required)
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift License - essential
- Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or production setting
- Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and a good team player
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills
- Competitive hourly pay at £14.00
- Overtime rates: time and a half after 40 hours, double time on weekends and bank holidays
- Monday to Friday working schedule - no night shifts
