Food Production Operatives - Immediate Start

Newton Abbot (Heathfield) | £12.25 per hour | Full-Time | Temporary to Permanent | Onsite Role

Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting Food Production Operatives on behalf of a leading food manufacturer in Newton Abbot. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, fast-paced production team, creating delicious, high-quality products enjoyed across the UK.

Please note: Due to the location, you must have your own transport or live locally.

About the Role:

As a Food Production Operative, you will play a key role in the daily operations of the production line. From preparing ingredients to packing finished products, your work will ensure hygiene, safety, and quality standards are met across the board.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, pack, and label food products accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and follow food hygiene procedures at all times.
  • Operate production machinery (full training provided).
  • Work collaboratively with your team to meet production targets.
  • Conduct quality checks and report any issues promptly.
Requirements:
  • A strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
  • Previous experience in food production or manufacturing is desirable but not essential.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to work on your feet for long periods in a fast-paced environment.
  • Own transport or local to Newton Abbot (site not accessible via public transport).
Working Hours:
  • Monday to Friday.
  • 7am - 4:30pm.
  • Approx. 42.5 hours per week.
