Summary
Job purpose:
The purpose of the role is to fabricate/weld steelwork , architectural metalwork to fabrication drawings to BS EN 1090-1 standards.
Responsibilities:
- Weld and fabricate metal components to technical drawings and instructions.
- Cut, shape, assemble and fit metal components using fabrication equipment and tools and various welding techniques, factory tools and equipment.
- Read and understand blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Perform quality checks.
- Maintain welding equipment and tools.
- Adhere to H&E guidelines.
Skills and requirement:
- MIG/TIG/MMA Welding technique experience is a MUST.
- MUST be proficient in working with Stainless and aluminium.
- Be able to fabricate and assemble metal components.
- Confident using hand tools and power tools used in metal fabrication.
- C/B Forklift license desirable.
