Duties
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible serving practices.
Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations as needed.
Handle cash transactions accurately, employing basic math skills for processing payments.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
Manage time efficiently during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.
Assist in restocking supplies and inventory management as required.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively.
Excellent time management abilities to thrive in a busy environment.
