Job Purpose
Are you enthusiastic and passionate about managing high quality leisure facilities and delivering aquatics programmes?Do you want to develop yourself as a Leisure professional?
We are looking for someone who is honest, ambitious, takes responsibility and is accountable for service delivery.
Key Duties Include (but not limited to):
- Overall supervision of both wet and dry side areas of the Venue taking reasonable care for own health and safety and that of others. Using your discretion and experience to resolve situations that arise.
- Responsible for co-ordinating and managing any emergency such as a building evacuations, chemical spillages and swimming pool rescues. This includes being; able to utilise your experience and training to implement the emergency action plan effectively, decisive in your approach, able to problem solve, and able to lead your team through the situation
- Manage Pool Plant Operations in line with PWTAG regulations including the backwashing of the pool filtration system, routine maintenance of pool plant equipment, monitoring and recording of daily, weekly and monthly chemical levels within the swimming pool ensuring any anomalies are resolved.
- Prioritise tasks and work with no direct supervision to undertake a range of administrative duties such as responding to general enquiries i.e. phone calls, email and social media, completion and filing of paperwork, working with a range of Microsoft packages, processing venue bookings and dealing with financial transactions, as well as any other related tasks.
- Manage and deliver where necessary a diverse programme of Sports Coaching, Leisure and Aquatic activities, Fitness Classes and events as agreed within the Sport and Community Venue Plan.

Rate of Pay
Rate of Pay: £15.75 per hourHours of work are on an 'as and when required' basis.
Applicants must be willing to travel to venues including Loudoun Leisure Centre & Doon Valley Leisure Centre, Dalmellington and be available to work evenings and weekends.
