Summary
Machine Operator
Paying £14.00 to £16.00 per hour - weekly pay - regular ongoing work
Hours of work are:
4 days on, 4 days off 8am to 8pm (which includes weekends) - Training provided
Our prestigious client based in Brownhills area is looking for quality staff to work in a foundry environment, dressing and making moulds for sand cores for manifolds and car parts. This is delicate work, that requires attention to detail.
Pay starts at £14.00 per hour - increases to £16.00 per hour after 12 weeks
Duties of a Machine Operator
- Will be operating Core Making / Mould making machines
- Inspecting and dressing the moulds by hand - correcting any imperfections
- Filing and painting to seal the sand
- Quality Inspection to a high standard
- Using hoists, PPT and pump trucks
- Working to targets
Experience required for a Machine Operator
- Previous factory work / machine operating work
- Worked within a foundry or mould making / core making environment before
- Be able to change tools, fixtures and fittings previous setting experience would be an advantage
- Understanding the work flow process
- Use hoists or PPT and pump trucks
- Must be numerate and literate and be able to complete the paperwork for the role
- Previous manufacturing and production experience an advantage - but training is provided
Details of a Machine Operator
- Day Shift is 4 days on - 4 days off - 8am to 8pm Pay for days starts at £14.00 per hour - increases to £16.00 per hour after 12 weeks (will involve working weekends)
- Machine Operating - Making automotive parts
- Will be working to targets.
- Based in Brownhills
