What we're looking for:
- Passion for Cybersecurity: A strong interest in cybersecurity trends, technologies, and a desire to learn and grow in the field.
- Foundational OS Knowledge: Basic understanding of Linux and Microsoft Windows operating systems.
- Networking Basics: Familiarity with fundamental networking concepts and components (e.g., firewalls, VPNs).
- Eagerness to Learn: An interest in Security Operations Centres (SOCs) and a willingness to learn about security tools (e.g., vulnerability management, EDR platforms).
- Problem-Solving Mindset: A proactive approach to identifying potential security issues and a desire to learn how to mitigate them.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively within a team environment.
Bonus points for:

- Familiarity with auditing frameworks such as ISO, NIST, or GDPR.
- Relevant IT or Security certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CySA+, CCNA).
