Summary

The preparation of vegetables, sandwiches, cold desserts and salad items for both Restaurant and Patient Services as directed by the Chef in charge of the shift. Picking and Packing of cook chill food for patients. Ensure that all food storage, preparation and service of all foods meet the temperature guidelines stipulated in the Food Safety (Temperature Control) Act 1995 and to record all food temperatures. Assist in daily cleaning of all kitchen areas to maintain a high standard of hygiene as and when appropriate within the departmental cleaning schedules.
