Summary
Key Accountabilities Co-ordination of stakeholder management and development of key deliverables including Marketing Plans and other associated communication materials. Input to strategic planning Working with the Executive team to develop products and to identify and prepare business cases for new opportunities within existing services/customers Maintain a stakeholder database and provide regular updates and intelligence reports to relevant managers from local communities and LCD engagement and networking activity Draft a range of materials and channels to communicate effectively with all stakeholders and co-ordinate LCD involvement in external events such as exhibitions and conferences To represent LCD at external events where required Monitor and report on market and competitor trends and provide reports and information to the Executive Support the tender evaluation process and production and delivery of tender documentation Coordinate the contract review and assessment process Key Principles To champion Local Care Direct values and promote an engaging and inclusive leadership approach with your team, throughout the wider Local Care Direct organisation and with partners and other stakeholders. To ensure the organisation remains fit for purpose at all times. To ensure that the quality of patient care is firmly at the centre of the organisations objectives and vision. To manage the resources and infrastructure to meet contractual, statutory and organisational standards. To work as part of the senior management team in monitoring performance across the organisation and driving quality improvement and efficiency. To respond to all aspects of bids for your lead business strands including pre-qualification questionnaires, tenders, contract mobilisation including joint ventures with existing and new partners. To work as part of a team to manage contracts, tendering arrangements and ongoing relationships with Commissioners and business partners. Team To develop strong relationships with other managers to promote effective cross-functional team working across Local Care Direct that supports the achievement of the companys objectives, standards and protocols. Constantly review ways of working to identify efficiencies and release savings and opportunities for income generation. To ensure effective lines and channels of communication and reporting within the team to support all employees understanding Local Care Direct business plans, objectives, priorities and changes. To ensure all staff have received the defined company induction programme and core training for their role and all required refresher training thereafter. To ensure all staff in your area of responsibility receive an annual performance and development review incorporating the development of a personal development plan. Financial resources To ensure areas of responsibility are delivered in a way that are consistent with Local Care Directs financial plans and cost improvement plans Manage delegated budgets effectively To provide input to the production of business cases to support service developments Health, safety and security Ensure that you and your team meet appropriate standards and that corrective action plans are implemented where breaches are identified. Confidentiality To ensure you and the team operate within information governance protocols and business confidentiality is maintained at all times. Environment & location Ensure staff work in accordance with LCD environmental management policy To ensure Local Care Direct premises meet the required contractual and organisational standards for the areas of your responsibility Safeguarding Individuals have a duty of care to children and vulnerable adults that they come into contact with whilst at work to safeguard and promote their welfare and to work to prevent, recognise, respond, appropriately refer and record potential neglect or abuse, adhering to the companys Safeguarding Children and Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults policies and procedures.
