Shot Blaster - Temporary Holiday Cover
Location: Oldham
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour
Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30
- Friday: 08:00 - 15:30
Our client based in Oldham is looking for an experienced Shot Blaster to provide temporary holiday cover for two weeks to start on Tuesday 26th August 2025.
The role involves operating shot blasting equipment to prepare metal surfaces to a high standard before further treatment.
Duties Include:- Operating shot blasting machinery in a safe and efficient manner
- Preparing surfaces according to project requirements
- Conducting visual inspections before and after blasting
- Cleaning and maintaining equipment
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures
- Previous experience in shot blasting
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Physically fit and comfortable working in dusty/noisy environments
- Available immediately for short-term cover
- FLT Counterbalance licence preferred
- Start Date: Immediate
- Duration: Holiday cover
