Summary

Opportunity Overview

We are looking for a Barista/Supervisor with a passion for coffee, a warm personality, a great attitude, someone that’s proactive, with an eye for quality, detail, speed, and service, and looking to develop their management skills.

The successful candidate will have excellent customer service and communication skills, a commitment to quality, cleanliness, and hygiene. You will provide the primary Barista service and be responsible for running and managing the small front-of-house team, setting and running shifts, while ensuring smooth customer-focused service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain expert knowledge of coffee and educate the front-of-house team about these coffees
  • Consistently making well-crafted, beautifully presented and tasty beverages including coffee (grinding, dialling in, pulling shots, steaming and pouring milk), teas and other beverages
  • Lead and motivate the front-of-house team in a high-level of customer service, setting and running shifts, and instilling professionalism and attention to detail in all aspects of service.
  • Responsible for dealing with any complaints that may arise in an effective manner
  • Responsible for effective and timely ordering, receipt, safe storage and stock rotation of all commodities used, and performing regular stocktaking
