Summary
Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established concrete manufacturing and precast casting company based in Alfreton. We are looking for an experienced Semi Dry Concrete Caster to join their production team. This is a physically demanding, full-time role with excellent progression opportunities and long-term job security.
Job Description - Semi Dry Concrete Caster:
• Stripping concrete castings from moulds and preparing moulds for reuse
• Carrying out quality inspections to ensure all products are up to specification, with no cracks, chips, or defects
• Operating within a fast-paced concrete manufacturing environment to meet daily production targets
• Following all site health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Working as part of a team in the concrete casting and manufacturing process
Candidate Requirements:
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual labour, repetitive tasks, and heavy lifting
• Reliable, hardworking, and motivated to develop a long-term career in concrete manufacturing
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality concrete products
Pay and Benefits:
• Opportunity to progress to piece work rates, earning £17 per hour and beyond once trained
• Temporary to permanent opportunity with a respected local concrete manufacturer
• Overtime opportunities available
Working Hours:
• 6:00am - 2:30pm
• Overtime may be available
