Join us at the Money and Pensions Service as a Planning and Campaign Manager, where you'll play a pivotal role in launching and promoting the MoneyHelper Pensions Dashboard – a groundbreaking service set to transform how people view and manage their pensions. Role Overview

The Planning and Campaign Manager will report directly to Interim Brand and Campaigns Marketing Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan Integration: Lead the creation of an integrated Route to Market channel plan by collaborating with internal channel owners to refine and connect individual plans into a cohesive strategy.
  • Project Management: Manage the Route to Market project plan using Microsoft Project, coordinate with Project Managers and Programme Directors to track progress, establish milestones, and identify risks and dependencies.
  • Strategic Communications: Develop a phased, insight-led communications strategy in collaboration with the communications team to ensure a successful Beta launch and post-launch scale-up.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Create and manage an internal stakeholder engagement plan, ensuring effective communication across product owners, programme leads, analysts, and delivery teams.
  • Reporting and Evaluation: Develop an evaluation framework for the integrated campaign, manage campaign reporting, and align performance metrics across various channels.
  • Content and Messaging Coordination: Lead the development of core messaging frameworks and user propositions for use across all communication channels.
  • Campaign Management: Plan and optimise paid campaigns, including channel coordination, asset production, and agency management.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with various teams to ensure alignment with broader ecosystem communications.

You will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience.

To excel in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • High level of experience in a marketing planning role within complex, multi-channel environments.
  • Proven ability to coordinate and integrate 'route to market' plans across multiple disciplines including digital, editorial, PR, partnerships, and paid media.
  • Strong project planning skills with experience in managing risks and providing updates to leadership.
  • Experience in managing B2C and B2BC campaigns, utilizing both high and low-cost channels to amplify activity.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project or similar project management software.
  • Interest and/or knowledge in financial wellbeing, preferably within the pensions, savings, or financial sectors.

Desirable

  • Experience in consumer service or government communications.
  • Familiarity with beta service launches or product/service readiness planning.
  • Experience in writing business cases and procuring marketing/communications services.
  • Knowledge of website and digital journey development.
  • Understanding of Agile and Continuous Improvement methodologies.

Flexible Working
At MaPS, we take pride in our flexible approach to work. As standard, we work on a hybrid basis with a minimum of 2 days in the office per week. Hybrid working is a voluntary, non-contractual arrangement and our headquarters in Bedford will be your contractual place of work. The number of days that anyone will be able to work at home will be determined primarily by business needs, but personal and other relevant circumstances will also be considered. If you are successful, any opportunities for hybrid working, including whether a hybrid working arrangement is suitable for you, will be discussed with you prior to you taking up your post.
