Our client is a specialist claimant law firm with a strong reputation in PI and Clinical negligence. Their team is growing, and they are now seeking a skilled and experienced caseworker to strengthen their PI and Clinical negligence department.
They are looking for an experienced PI and medical negligence caseworker, with greater emphasis on Clinical Negligence to manage a caseload of Clinical negligence claims, from instruction to settlement. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about claimant work and wants to contribute to a specialist and supportive team. There is opportunity to further develop the department and an incentive for an agreed salary bonus.
Are you the right person for the job?
• Minimum 2 years’ experience handling clinical negligence casework
• Proven ability to run cases independently and deliver results for clients
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and case management skills
• Proficient in using legal case management systems and digital files
What will your role look like?
• Independently manage a caseload of Clinical negligence claims
• Instructing medical reports and analysing medical reports
• Draft legal documents, including letters of claim, particulars of claim, schedules of loss, and witness statements
• Engage in negotiations with defendants and insurers to secure appropriate settlements
• Liaise with clients, experts, and counsel throughout the litigation process
• Ensure compliance with relevant protocols, limitation deadlines, and procedural requirements
• Maintain accurate records using the firm’s case management system
