We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Bench Joiner / Carpenter who has excellent carpentry / joinery skills with strong knowledge of traditional and modern joinery techniques.
In a highly skilled manufacturing environment, the craftsmanship of bespoke joinery brings architectural visions to life. From initial drawings and specifications, working as a Bench Joiner / Carpenter you will produce custom-made elements, including doors, windows, and staircases. This expertise also extends to creating bespoke kitchens, fitted furniture, and unique, one-off pieces that are tailored to the precise requirements of a project. This work demands an unwavering commitment to quality and an understanding of how to transform raw materials into functional and beautiful components.
Working as the Bench Joiner / Carpenter you will have the ability to accurately interpret and work from both architectural and detailed workshop drawings, collaborating with the team and ensuring that each project is completed on time and to the highest possible standard.

DUTIES
Your duties as the Bench Joiner / Carpenter include:
• Bespoke Manufacturing: Manufacturing bespoke doors, windows, staircases, kitchens, fitted furniture and one off pieces, all crafted precisely from architectural drawings and client specifications
• Precision and Quality: Produce work with a commitment to quality and precision, consistently working to exacting tolerances throughout the entire manufacturing process
• Technical Interpretation: Accurately interpret and work from complex architectural and detailed workshop drawings
• Collaborative Delivery: Ensure the timely and successful delivery of projects by collaborating effectively with all team members to meet required standards
• Heritage and Conservation: The company contribute their specialist skills to the heritage and conservation joinery sector, applying traditional methods and materials to preserve and restore historical woodwork
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• Proven experience as a Bench Joiner
• Strong knowledge of traditional and modern joinery techniques
• Ability to confidently read and interpret technical drawings
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality craftsmanship
• Experience with heritage joinery or conservation work is desirable
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Carpentry & Joinery (preferred)
