Are you passionate about innovation in agriculture and ready to make a real impact on the future of UK cropping systems? We’re looking for a dynamic and driven individual to join our team as a Marketing & Technical Specialist. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in identifying market opportunities, driving environmental and financial value, and supporting the rollout of cutting-edge crop protection technologies.
In this role, you’ll combine strategic marketing insight with hands-on technical expertise—helping to shape go-to-market strategies, gather and analyse field data, and deliver compelling customer value stories. You’ll also be instrumental in upskilling internal teams, engaging with customers, and demonstrating the latest drone technologies in real-world conditions.
Main Responsibilities:
Marketing
• The identification and quantification of market opportunities in UK cropping
• The sourcing of field data and customer value stories for use in marketing
• To verify the most appropriate route to market (is this the same as” Creation of a commercial model to go to market” and “To determine the most appropriate marketing model for UK customers”)?
• Go to market management
• Analysis data on yield impact for phase 2 of marketing
Environment
• To quantify the environmental and financial benefits.
• The sourcing of environmental and financial customer feedback for use in marketing
• Knowledge
• To upskill the TAG team by embedding knowledge of crop protection methods to help with the system roll out.
• Work as part of the business team with existing customer bases: -A greater depth of knowledge in the business will also help with having informed interactions with customers which will assist in growing sales of the new service and existing products
Technical
• Use of Cultiwise in UK conditions
• Confirm recommended drone best fit
• Familiarisation with CAA regulations and insurance as applied to permission to fly
• Achieve flying qualifications as necessitated by the chosen drone
• Demonstrate proficiency in drone flight and be prepared to give live demonstrations
Experience/Qualification required
Degree at 2.1 or above in Agronomy, Engineering or a similar subject
