Summary
The Practice Education Facilitator is expected to be visible to the wider workforce, specifically all Practice Educators, and work directly in collaboration with our partner Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), providing proactive positive opportunities for engagement. Facilitate discussion groups and deliver training to staff and students across the Trust, promoting evidenced based practice and assisting in the development of new and improved practice-based learning.Provide a flexible approach to provision of support where it cannot reasonably be achieved in normal working hours or in the workplace.Promote Equality & Diversity and a non-discriminatory culture.Identify and take action when other peoples behaviour undermines Equality and Diversity.Liaise with NHS staff, educational coordinators, practice leads and programme teams, building and strengthening relationships between the Trust and the educational and placement providers.To maintain own CPD to ensure quality and credibility to the role.
