Summary
Key Responsibilities: Consultant-led delivery of advanced heart failure services, including: *Management of patients with heart failure, *Management of the waiting list, *Care of patients on mechanical circulatory support (including left ventricular assist devices), *Develop and lead the non-invasive monitoring of heart transplant recipients, *Long-term holistic care of the heart transplant recipient. Participate in and contribute to multi-disciplinary team meetings, including: *Leading MDT meetings, *Clinical leadership to allied health professionals in delivering holistic care. Clinical governance and continuous quality improvement, including: *Monitoring and investigation of adverse outcomes, *Review of donor organ utilisation, *Participation in Morbidity and Mortality meetings.
