About the Role
- Deliver high-quality, differentiated support to SEN learners in both small group and one-to-one settings.
- Collaborate in planning, adapting, and delivering bespoke learning activities aligned with IEPs or EHCPs.
- Facilitate engagement and emotional well-being through patience, consistency, and encouragement.
- Assist students in developing independence, life skills, and confidence.
- Maintain effective communication with teachers, SENCOs, and parents/careers.
- Support learners in using resources such as reading interventions
- Monitor and record student progress, contributing to documentation and reflection.
About You
- Passionate about supporting children with diverse educational needs.
- Understanding, patient, and responsive in your approach.
- All roles are subject to enhanced DBS checks.
- Capable of building trusting relationships with learners and their families.
- Communicative, organised, and collaborative.
- Committed to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
Desirable: Experience in SEN or relevant qualifications (CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ in Learning Support). However, full training and support will be provided for the right candidate.
