Summary

Nursery Manager – Up to £43,000

Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated Nursery Manager to lead their beautiful nursery with thoughtfully designed age-specific areas and an inspiring outdoor classroom. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Early Years professional with proven management experience and a strong track record of achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted ratings.

As Nursery Manager, you will ensure the highest standards of childcare and education, while leading and developing a passionate team. This position offers the chance to make a lasting impact in a supportive environment where both children and staff thrive.

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above).
  • Previous experience as a Nursery Manager with a strong record of Good or Outstanding Ofsted outcomes.
  • Excellent knowledge of the EYFS framework, safeguarding, and health & safety requirements.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Effective communication and organisational abilities.
  • A passion for creating a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring high standards of care and education.
  • Maintain compliance with Ofsted requirements, policies, and procedures.
  • Inspire, motivate, and develop a team of early years practitioners to deliver outstanding practice.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and the local community.
  • Oversee planning, assessment, and implementation of the EYFS curriculum.
  • Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and quality standards are consistently met.
  • Drive continuous improvement and prepare for inspections with confidence.
