Summary

Job Title: Information & Advice Worker

Salary: £23,205 pro rata (depending on experience)
Hours: Part-time, 21 hours per week, Monday – Friday, plus 1 Saturday every 8 weeks
Contract: Fixed Term until 31st August 2026 (subject to funding)

Summary:
Join Age Concern Tyneside South as an Information & Advice Worker and make a real difference for older people in the community. You’ll provide guidance on a range of issues, including welfare, benefits, health, and wellbeing, helping people access the services and support they need. This role involves one-to-one client support, group work, and collaboration with local organisations to improve outcomes for older residents.

You’ll be part of a supportive team, using your communication skills and knowledge of the voluntary sector to help people navigate complex systems and make informed decisions. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills while contributing to the wellbeing of your community.
