We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary Teaching Assistant to support learning across Key Stages 3 and 4. This role is ideal for someone passionate about helping young people achieve their potential in a secondary school setting. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a Secondary Teaching Assistant:
Provide in-class support to teachers and students across a range of subjects.
Work with individual students and small groups to reinforce learning.
Support pupils with special educational needs (SEN) or additional learning needs where required.
Assist with classroom management and behaviour support.
Help prepare resources and maintain an engaging learning environment.
Contribute to extracurricular activities and wider school life where appropriate.
Ideal Secondary Teaching Assistant:
Previous experience working with secondary-aged students (desirable but not essential).
Strong communication and teamwork skills as a Secondary Teaching Assistant.
A patient, supportive, and positive approach to working with young people.
Ability to build strong relationships with both staff and students.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 TA) desirable but not essential.
