Summary


EPUT’s Transformation Team provides a rounded approach to programme and project management. They ensure that procedures, practices and operations go right, on time, on budget and are in line with the vision of the trust, to guarantee programme and project success.

With a focus on the key safety priorities, the team continually aim to decrease risk, increase timely project delivery, make more informed decisions, provide accurate reporting and make more efficient use of resources.

Key to the success of EPUT’s Transformation is our outstanding team comprising of programme managers, project managers, data analysts and clinical teams who work together to support and lead transformation projects, whilst improving the transformational skills of the organisation

To work as a key member of the Transformation Team, as an experienced programme manager with subject matter experience in complex project management, the post holder will manage the delivery of Trust-wide programmes, usually within programmes, helping to deliver system-wide transformation.

The post-holder will demonstrate a meticulous and structured approach along with extensive project management skills and the ability to manage all aspects of the full project lifecycle.

The post holder with work closely with the relevant teams on progress and changes to plans and provide support to ensure that project work streams are planned and managed effectively.

The post holder will deputise for the relevant Deputy Director of Transformation Corporate and Governance and/or Director of Transformation as required.

Here at EPUT we maintain our own bank of specialist staff to ensure that we are able offer safe and effective care at all times.

All our permanent staff are automatically enrolled onto the staff bank however this does not mean you have to work any additional shifts, but the option is there for you if you wish.

Provide leadership and management of a range of major complex programmes aligned to the Trust’s strategic objectives

Work closely and effectively with internal and external stakeholders including project sponsors, senior responsible officers, subject matter experts and work stream leads to ensure appropriate project governance and controls are in place throughout the lifetime of the project.

Develop appropriate work packages in support of delivery of project milestones.

Provide support to ensure work stream leads are equipped and have adequate resources to deliver milestones, escalating where appropriate when risks and issues arising.

Provide advice and guidance to project sponsors to develop contingency plans and recommendations.

Manage and lead project work stream meetings and other project meetings and workshops.

Ensure dynamic and appropriate risk management processes are in place

Produce all appropriate project documentation.

Operate the principles of a structured and controlled approach to project management at all times.

Ensure benefits realisation, lessons learned events and formal project closure takes place.

Designs and delivers training programmes across the organisation to support the Transformation team and project leads.

Represents the Trust at internal and external stakeholder meetings at a senior level.
