Summary
HGV/LGV Class 1 Tramper Driver – Felixstowe
Our client, a well-established transport company based in Felixstowe, Suffolk, is looking for experienced HGV/LGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers to join their team.
The Role
- Nationwide container transportation from major UK ports, including Felixstowe, London Gateway, Tilbury, Southampton, Bristol, Liverpool, and Grangemouth.
- Operating container tipping chassis (40ft & 20ft), low loaders, and refrigerated cargo transport.
- Tramping Monday to Friday nights – all vehicles are fully equipped for nights out.
- Weekend and night deliveries may be required.
- Some vehicles are fitted with camera systems instead of wing mirrors – experience with this technology is advantageous.
Requirements
- Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 licence
- Rhides card and London Gateway card (essential)
- Current Driver CPC and Digi Card
- Minimum 6 months’ Class 1 driving experience
- No DD, DR or IN endorsements
