The Mobile Maintenance Electrician will play a key role in delivering, operating, and supporting client account resources and operations, ensuring all Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) is carried out in compliance with legislative and contract requirements.



This role offers excellent opportunities for training and development, as well as the chance to work across a variety of sites.

Job Description

In addition to PPM duties, the role of Maintenance Electrician requires a reactive response to site equipment and facilities across the entire network, including offices, stations, depots, sidings, or other locations as required.

The Mobile Maintenance Electrician will also be responsible for delivering both major projects and minor additional works, ensuring high standards of service and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities



Complete all PPM, reactive tasks, and fixed wire testing to a high standard, ensuring accurate CAFM records are maintained.
Provide all necessary documentation, administration, and company records to support compliance.
Ensure full adherence to Health & Safety requirements, including inspections and risk assessments where required.
Maintain technical compliance across all works and escalate any concerns relating to maintenance issues.
Keep job requesters informed of progress and completion status.
Support the client and on-site colleagues through effective communication and service delivery.
Contribute to wider projects and assignments as needed.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Electrical Installation background.
General Maintenance experience.
Knowledge/Experience of Testing and Inspection.
Ability to measure, work to plans (method statements), read technical diagrams and communicate, present and report technical information.
City & Guilds 2230 Level 3 OR
NVQ 2356 / 2357 OR
City and Guilds 2330 Level 3 in Electrical Installation OR AM1 and AM2.
