Summary
To be considered for this role, applicants must be registered with the HCPC or NMC and satisfy the essential criteria as outlined on the attached person specification. They must have a demonstrable interest in the prehospital, emergency care, critical care or retrieval settings. These exciting posts require individuals to be motivated, to be excellent communicators and to have the ability to remain calm under pressure. The selection process for this role is competitive and will consist of a portfolio review, an interview, and a fitness test. Written support from the applicants clinical line manager is required to ensure that they have the approval of their employer to undertake this role. Successful candidates will undergo a clinical induction to ensure that they are familiar with our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and all the EMRTS kit and equipment. This will ensure that they are able to respond to a range of incidents, which may include attending obstetric, paediatric and neonatal patients. We recognise that Continued Professional Development is integral to providing the best patient care possible, and we would be able to support the successful candidate in the completion of the CPPF initial competency pack (an example is attached to this advert), and a larger clinical portfolio to evidence their work during their time with the service. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply. If you would like to work alongside a progressive, and caring healthcare organisation then we would really like to hear from you.
