Summary

We're looking for a Section Engineer to join our Transportation team based in Twyford Buckinghamshire. Could this be you?



Location: Twyford Buckinghamshire - site based

Contract: Permanent, Fulltime



Responsibilities

As a Section Engineer, you'll be managing the technical compliance of the project to the design specification in order to fulfil the assigned project (or section) safely, on time and to the required quality.

Your day to day will include:

-Manage and coordinate civil engineering works including earthworks, drainage, highways, structures, and utilities.

-Support project delivery by supervising staff and assisting management to meet programme and specification requirements.

-Ensure safety and compliance with Kier Highways SHEA Policy, legal standards, and industry best practices.

-Lead planning and stakeholder coordination during design and construction phases, including temporary works and technical issue resolution.

-Monitor quality and contractor performance through site inspections, enforcing standards, and ensuring accountability.

What are we looking for?

This role of Section Engineer is great for you if have:

-Relevant Construction related Degree or HNC qualification

-A valid CSCS card.

-Strong understanding of temporary works and construction methodologies.
