Summary

A Vacancy at Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust.


RNOH currently has 1 full time Research Fellow post in the Bone and Soft Tissue Tumour Service available to start in November 2025 on a 12 month fixed term contract. Applicants should have completed foundation training and have experience in orthopaedics, have a demonstrable interest in clinical research particularly in orthopaedic surgery and wish to pursue a career in surgery.

The position will provide an opportunity to develop clinical research, possibly leading to a higher degree, as well as clinical exposure to the management of patients with bone and soft tissue tumours, and complex limb reconstruction.

• Deliver clinical research projects
• Contribute to or lead grant applications
• Presentations at international and national conferences
• Support out-patient clinics and theatre sessions as required
• Contribute to registrar and other teaching programmes
