We're Ready to Transform – Are You the Product Owner to Lead the Way?
Location: Hybrid working | UK sites + remote working
Type: Full-time | Permanent
Industry: Food Manufacturing | Digital Transformation

We’re on an exciting journey at The Compleat Food Group – and we need a sharp, hands-on Product Owner to lead the implementation
and evolution of Recipe Professor by Point74, our new, business-critical Recipe Management and BOM standardisation system.

This isn’t just another system roll-out. It’s a company-wide transformation that will reshape how we manage innovation,
compliance, and manufacturing precision. If you thrive at the intersection of food, tech, and operational excellence – this is for
you.

THE OPPORTUNITY - WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?:

As the Product Owner, you'll be the heartbeat of Recipe Professor within Compleat. You’ll bring together R&D, Technical, NPD,
Production, and Finance with the developers at Point74 to deliver a solution that works across every site, every shift, and every
spec. From defining feature sets to building training guides and ensuring compliance, you’ll own the road-map and make it real.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

* Champion the Recipe Professor road-map – keep it aligned with business goals, regulatory requirements, and real-world user
needs.

* Bridge the gap between internal teams and Point74 developers – translating business priorities into clear user stories and
action plans.

* Lead requirements sessions with R&D, Technical, Production, and Finance to standardise recipes, costing, and allergen handling.

* Manage the product backlog and coordinate cross-site roll-out plans in partnership with our project and transformation teams.

* Drive adoption and performance, refining the product post-launch and embedding it into our everyday ways of working.

* Train and empower key users so teams can manage and scale Recipe Professor long after go-live.

* Own the data quality – ensuring recipe data is governed, compliant, and ready for future integrations (ERP, PLM, MRP).

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Essential:

* Hands-on experience with Recipe Professor (Point74) or a comparable platform.

* Deep understanding of BOMs, recipe management, and food manufacturing processes.

* Background in Food Tech, NPD, or Technical Services.

* Track record in digital transformation or SaaS delivery in an FMCG/production setting.

* ERP integration know-how (e.g., SAP, Navision).

* Strong experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst, ideally in a manufacturing context.

Desirable:

* Brilliant communicator – able to work at pace across technical and non-technical teams.

* Skilled in writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios.

* Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable with ambiguity.
