Summary
Ambassadors Resourcing is recruiting Level 2 and Level 3 Nursery Practitioners for day nursery settings in Solihull & Shirley.
Job Description
• The successful Nursery Practitioners will:
• Show a passion for working with children in the Early Years and understand the
importance of meeting every child’s individual needs and interests by
effectively planning and observing and tailoring activities accordingly
• Have sound knowledge of the EYFS
• Promote and nurture the children’s development of creativity, individuality and
self confidence
• Contribute to a safe, clean, inspiring and inclusive environment
• Engage in excellent communication with the team and parents/carers
• Actively promote & support the safeguarding of all children, ensuring that the
policies and procedures of the day nurseries and Ambassadors Resourcing are
observed and their responsibilities are understood
Requirements
• The successful Nursery Practitioners must have:
• Level 2 or 3 in Child Care and Education or the equivalent
• A minimum of GCSE Grade 4 in English if a Level 3 practitioner, or the
equivalent
• A current Paediatric First Aid certificate
• An enhanced DBS and Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and have a
legal right to work in the country
• Two acceptable reference checks from previous employers, including from a
childcare & education setting, or educational institutions from the last 2 years
• An in-person interview which will include questions about safeguarding and the
candidate’s understanding of working with children
