Summary

We are looking for a passionate and versatile Drama and English Teacher to join a team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who can inspire creativity in Drama while also supporting strong literacy and communication skills in English. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as Drama/English Teacher:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons in both Drama and English across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 if applicable).

  • Foster creativity, confidence, and strong communication skills through performance and literature.

  • Plan, prepare, and assess student progress in line with curriculum requirements.

  • Contribute to school productions, extracurricular activities, and enrichment opportunities.

  • Maintain excellent classroom management and a positive learning environment.

Ideal Drama/English Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Ability to teach both Drama and English confidently.

  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for the arts and literature.

  • Excellent organisational and classroom management skills as a Drama/English Teacher.

  • A commitment to inspiring and supporting students of all abilities.
