Summary
The Best Connection are recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer on behalf of our client based in Ellesmere Port.
This job includes the following:
- Support process improvements and complete preventative maintenance routines
- Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety procedures and is logged via Pirana CMMS
- Perform proactive and reactive maintenance on conveyors, motors, gearboxes, control panels, vibratory feeders, optical sorters etc
- Collaborate with production teams to maintain site efficiency
- Carry out some welding, fabrication and mechanical repairs
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience within an industrial environment
- Multi-skilled background with both electrical and mechanical expertise
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and fabricate components accordingly
- Capable of working both individually and as a team
- Good reporting skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
It's on a 4 off, 4 on (alternating days and nights) basis.
