Location: Barrow-in-Furness
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off rotation
Pay Rate: £14.65/hour + Overtime at £25.64/hour
Contract Type: Ongoing, Full-Time Assignment
We are currently recruiting for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a well-established distribution team in Barrow-in-Furness. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for long-term, stable work with excellent benefits.
Key Responsibilities:- Safely operate a counterbalance forklift truck
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures
- Palletising goods and preparing shipments
- Completing relevant paperwork accurately
- Undertake training as required
- Carry out daily equipment checks and report any issues
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Valid, in-date Counterbalance Forklift Licence (not in house)
- Referenceable experience in a similar role
- Ability to work both day and night shifts on a rotating basis
- 4 on / 4 off rotation
- 2 x 12-hour day shifts (6am - 6pm)
- 2 x 12-hour night shifts (6pm - 6am)
- 4 days off
- After 7 weeks on shift, enjoy 18 days off
