Summary
*to play a key role in meeting the Department's contracted obligations for the provision of NORS and in ensuring that the overall performance of the Unit meets the quality criteria agreed with the purchasing consortia. The appointee will adhere to the Standard Operating Guidelines for provision of cardiopulmonary organ retrieval services. This means conducting DBD isolated heart or lung organ retrievals independently and assisting in DBD split organs retrievals and DCD organs retrievals in conjunction with other surgeons as part of the Birmingham cardiopulmonary NORS team.
