RamsgateWe Do What We Say and We Care
That’s why we need people like you to help us deliver on our promises. People who enjoy getting things done and want to develop their experience in the world of utilities.
Clancy are looking to recruit a permanent Water Network Team Leader. This position is perfect for those who enjoy a physical job outside, and an ability to perform in a physically demanding role, as well as all-weather conditions.
Here are some of the daily activities you'll be involved with...
- Locate and repair mains water defects
- Checking equipment and systems are fit for use, maintained and fully operational
- Responsible for risk assessments
- Ensure strict adherence to all Clancy Group health, safety and environmental regulations
- Acting as a mentor and coach for less experienced colleagues
We would love to hear from you if you can demonstrate…
You have previous experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor and bring with you a solid understanding of the construction and water industry. Strong leadership skills, sound technical knowledge, and the ability to guide a team safely and effectively will be key to your success in this role.
A full, clean driving licence is essential, and an NRSWA qualification would be highly advantageous. Experience in underground service detection using tools such as CAT and Genny, along with a strong awareness of health and safety practices, will also be required.
While a CSCS card (or equivalent) would be beneficial, we are equally keen to hear from candidates with practical experience of operating plant such as diggers or excavators. Additional qualifications such as Street Works card, Deep Excavation, Confined Space, First Aid, Excavator/Digger Ticket, Abrasive Wheels, or other relevant water industry training will be an advantage.
