Mobile Caretaker

Middlesbrough – covering the North East

£25,400
- £26,737 per year
40 hours per week

We have an opportunity for a Mobile Caretaker to join our Property Services team based in Middlesbrough. As a Mobile Caretaker you will be responsible for carrying out an excellent caretaking service which will involve grass cutting, hedge pruning, litter picking and cleaning of internal and external areas. The ideal candidate will have a track record of delivering high quality services, demonstrate commitment to teamwork and high levels of customer service.

The role of Mobile Caretaker will include:

- Undertaking general caretaking duties including cleaning communal areas such as stairs, doors and windows and removing bulk waste
- Grounds maintenance tasks to include litter picking and general upkeep
- Carrying out compliance testing
- Working with customers to resolve issues and improve services
- Completing all documents and paperwork concerning tasks completed
- Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained in a suitable condition


Skills and experiences:

- Experience in a similar role or completing similar tasks
- Knowledge of cleaning and caretaking, and an understanding of COSHH and Risk Assessments
- Practical experience of carrying out risk assessments
- Practical experience in operating hand tools and light machinery
- Working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
- This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
